He is currently working as Professor, North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro. He has received many international awards and recognition for his contribution in the field of pharmacy.
His scientific research mainly focuses on Food Chemistry, Food Analysis, General nutrition and food processing, Advanced Food Chemistry, Instrumental method of food analysis, Protein and lipid chemistry, and Food Microbiology.
