Amy Stockert has been a faculty member at Ohio Northern University in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences in the Raabe College of Pharmacy since 2006. Amy’s teaching responsibilities include biochemistry, nutrition, pharmacogenomics, and epigenetics. Amy engages in educational research related to her courses as well as scientific research in the fields of dietary polyphenols and epigenetics. Amy had her research featured on Time Health and CNN health as well as multiple radio interviews. Her research has been presented at American Institute for Cancer Research and American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology multiple times since 2006. Amy is the Director of Baccalaureate Colleges for Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society and has served in this capacity since 2014. Prior to that she served as the Associate Director.
