Shirin A. Mazumder

Biography:

Dr. Mazumder is an Associate Professor of Medicine in Division of Infectious Diseases at University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She worked as Clinical Instructor at Saint Louis University in Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Mazumder did the MD in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Infectious Diseases. Dr. Mazumder certified from Infectious Disease Board and Internal Medicine Board. She holds many licenses in the United States and Tennessee State. Dr. Mazumder got an Outstanding New Physician Award, Health Resource Center, Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is a member of Tennessee Medical Association, American College of Physicians, Infectious Disease Society of America, HIV Medical Association.

Research Interests:

Her research interest mainly focuses on Anti-Bacterial Agents, Fungemia, Bacteremia, Immunocompromised Host, Staphylococcal Skin Infections, Enterobacteriaceae Infections, Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome, IGA Glomerulonephritis, Bacterial Drug Resistance, Interstitial Nephritis, Diabetic Nephropathies, and Surgical Wound Infection.
