Working experiences: OD at Veteran Affair (VA) Central Texas Health Care System, and Scott & White hospital. Perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose & treat ocular diseases; co-management for glaucoma, cataract, diabetic retinopathy and post-operations patients; certificated Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Reader for VA; performs researches on retinal blood flow regulation Glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy. Received 5 Research Grants/ Rewards with 15 Peer-Reviewed publications. Institutional Review Board (IRB) voting member for VA Central Texas Health Care System; Council on Optometric Practitioner Education Reviewer; and Vice President-Heart of Texas Optometric Society. Postdoctoral Fellow training in Dept. of Ophthalmology, Scott & White Hospital.

Research Interests:

The regulation of retinal blood flow in ocular disease of glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.
