Dr. Emin Turkay Korgun was born on 25th March 1967 in Ankara, Turkey. He had completed his graduation in medicine from Department of Medical Biological Sciences, Turkey and masters from Akdeniz University. He completed his Ph.D., in medicine from Akdeniz University. He is currently serving as a professor in the Department of Histology and Embryology, Akdeniz University, Antalya, Turkey. Dr. Korgun has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles with an H-index of 13. He has got many book chapters from his research areas and served as a reviewer for various renowned journals. He supervised many projects and served as an active member of professional organizations.
