Ratko Pavlovic

Biography:

He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education in Serbian Sarajevo 2000 (BIH), at the Faculty of Physical Education in Niš (Serbia) has completed post-graduate studies 2004 (received the plaque for the most successful post-graduates), PhD degree in 2006 at the Faculty of Physical Education in Eastern Sarajevo (BIH). After completing undergraduate studies, he worked in primary and secondary schools as a physical education teacher, and the coach athletics and volleyball. He was a professor of gymnastics, skiing, recovery in sports. Lecturer of more seminars in diagnostics, methodology and condition in athletics and training process. At the same faculty he held the position of Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs and Vice Dean for Science and Editor of the editorial staff of scientific journal ''Sport and Health''. He was president of the Commission for the professional exam of teachers, associates and educators. More times mentor at first, second and third cycle studies.

He participated in training Tempus project, From Quality Assurance to Strategy Development'' WUS Austria and participant for tens of conferences, scientific conferences and symposia and was a member of the Scientific Committee of the International Scientific Conference (Slovakia, 2014; Romania, 2016; Turkey, 2017, 2019). He has published about 200 scientific papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He is the author of 4 textbooks and one practicum of Athletics and textbook Theory and Methodic of Elementary Games.

The reviewer is a monograph of the international importance ,,World race walking research,,, published by the University Matey Bel, (Slovakia); book "FITNESS-individual programs" published by the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Sarajevo; book "Theory of Physical Culture", published by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, University of East Sarajevo; book "The moving structures in physical education, sport and recreation", published by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, University of Banja Luka; book "Obesity of children in pre-school institutions in Sarajevo Canton"(Presentation of the results of a study conducted on 1850 children), published by the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton, BIH.

He is a member of the editorial board of 72 international scientific journals (Chief-in-editor of 5 international journals) and regular reviewer of 19 international scientific journals. Participant in an international project "Attitudes toward gender equality in football in the school context" (University of Castilla La Mancha, Espana). He is a member of international scientific organizations: Athens Institute for Education and Research A World Association of Academics and Researcher (Greece); World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (Connecticut, USA); Science Research Association and the Global Academic Organization (SCIREA); Sports Medicine Association of Serbia; Anthropological Society of Serbia.
