Dr. Yizheng Cao received his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Nanjing University (China), and Ph.D. degree in Materials Engineering from Purdue University (USA). Dr. Cao is a recipient of the HIVE 100 Award for his pioneering research of cellulose nanocrystal reinforced cementitious materials. Dr. Cao currently holds the position of Senior Scientist, Materials Science at Albany Molecular Research Inc.. He leads a variety of research projects spanning a wide scope, funded by National Institutes of Health, Coca Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Gilead Sciences etc..
