Dr. Rika M. L. Meyer is currently an Assistant Professor in the department of Child and Adolescent Development at California State University, Northridge. She received her BA in Psychology from UCLA and she got her PhD in Developmental Psychology from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. After receiving her PhD, she was a research scientist at Children's Hospital Los Angeles then became a faculty member in the Psychology Department at Bellevue College.
Her research interests include chronic pain and stress in children, adolescents, and their families and ways to promote academic success from childhood to emerging adulthood.
