Wilbert S Aronow MD is Clinical Professor of Medicine; Senior Associate Program Director and Research Mentor for the Residency and Fellowship Programs Department of Medicine Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College He received his MD from Harvard Medical School. He received the Distinguished Service Award from the Society of Geriatric Cardiology in 2003 the Joseph T Freeman Award from the Gerontological Society of America in 2005 and a faculty award from New York Medical College in 2006 for mentoring the most trainees who had original research papers published during 2004-2005. He has been a consultant to numerous government agencies and a member of committees in numerous professional societies
