Olfat Gamil Shaker

Biography:

Olfat Gamil Shaker has completed her M.D. Medical Biochemistry from Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University 1993. She is currently working as Professor of Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. She authored many publications in national and international journals. She attended many national and international conferences. She received many awards and honors such as The National Prize for Medical Science for the year 1999, The National Prize for Medical Science for the year 2010, Awards from Cairo University for international publications for years 2006-2011. She is an active member in various societies such as Member in the European Society of Gene Therapy, Member of the Team of Genome in Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Member in the American Bibliographical Institute, Inc, USA, Member in the action plane of the postgraduate team committee at Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University (2010-2013), Member of the Supreme Council of Universities, Biotechnology and genetics (2008- 2015) and etc.

Research Interests:

Her research interest focuses on Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Colorectal cancer.
