Dr. Wei-Gang Hu has M.D. and Ph.D. in Immunology. After his two postdoctoral training's on development of vaccines and antibodies at National Institutes of Health (NIH) in USA and Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) in Canada, he started to work as a Biologist at Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) Suffield Research Centre (SRC), Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada in 2004.As a biologist (principal investigator) at DRDC SRC, Dr. Wei-Gang Hu has been leading or collaborating in various research projects internally, nationally, and internationally. His research highlights are two-folds: vaccines and therapeutic antibodies against infectious diseases.
