Dr. Nasr-Eldin M. Aref is Associate Professor of Internal Veterinary Medicine, Department of Animal Medicine, Assiut University, Egypt. Dr. Aref received his Ph.D. in Large Animal Clinical Sciences from Michigan State University, US. His Ph.D research work focused on construction of highly immunogenic heat-stable enterotoxin (STa) of enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) strains. A patent out of his Ph.D. work has been issued in USA, 2014. Aref's scholarly work is geared towards enterotoxin-mediated diarrheal diseases and development of ST-based ETEC vaccine using nanotechnology.
