Dr Raffaele Rauso is an Italian Plastic Surgeon. He obtained his medical degree at 24 years old, later on he became consultant Cranio-Facial Surgeon, then performed a PhD program in Plastic Surgery, Dermatology and Anatomy. His academic career continued with a post graduate Diploma in Microsurgery, a Master’s degree in Aesthetic Surgery and one more Master's degree in Breast Reconstruction.

He is the founder of the plastic surgery network called “CHIRURGIAdellaBELLEZZA” located in the main Italian cities, such as Rome, Naples and Milan. Actually he is the former President of the Italian Federation of Aesthetic Medicine (F.I.M.E.). And  he is also a Professor at the University of Foggia. Actually he is reviewer for several scientific medical journals, and is member of the most reputed european scientific societies in the field of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has published several papers in the most reputed journals in the field of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Cranio-Facial Surgery and Cosmetic Medicine; he is also the author of several book chapters in the field of aesthetic plastic surgery and cosmetic medicine.
