Ion Codreanu

Biography:

Dr. Codreanu completed his Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.) degrees in Medical Imaging at the University of Oxford in England. Subsequently, he pursued a Nuclear Medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, and a PET/CT fellowship at the University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson, AZ. He is Board certified in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Nuclear Cardiology. After completing his training in England and the USA, Dr. Codreanu returned to his home country, where he currently serves as an Associate Professor of Radiology at the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu” in Chisinau, Moldova. Before returning to Moldova, he was a licensed medical practitioner in the states of Pennsylvania and Arizona. Dr. Codreanu has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications and a book chapter. He has also been awarded the title of Habilitated Doctor of Medicine.
