Dr. Severino Rey accomplished his Ph.D. (pathology 2014.universidad Miguel Hernández, Spain) and a medical degree in 1990. He has vast experience in different areas of modern pathology, to name a few: endocrine and lung pathology, molecular pathology of thyroid cancer. Dr. Rey is an expert in FNA of the endocrine organs. He is currently working as the professor in Department of Molecular Biology, Albizú University, USA. In 2012 he published the book. Patología de la glándula tiroides (in the Spanish language). Ed. Bubok, Spain. since 1987, his several papers got published in different journal both national and international peer-reviewed journals like journal of clinical pathology and from different journals of Elsevier, Springer, etc. He received the award “the gold medals of ops” for outstanding performance in the programs of systematic reading, research forward and finding the best current scientific evidence through expert interaction advanced computer network RIMA medicine from American health organization. He played an important instrumental role in a different prestigious internal collaborative research project with European society of pathology (endocrine working group) and ministry of health of Ecuador. He is an active member of New York academic of sciences and EQAC (education quality accreditation commission).
