Dr. Rashid A. Saeed holds a PhD with a specialization in Communications and Network Engineering from UPM, Malaysia. Since 2000, he has served as an Associate Professor at SUST. His professional journey includes senior researcher roles at Telekom Malaysia™ Research and Development (TMRND) in 2007 and MIMOS Berhad in 2010.
With a prolific academic career, Dr. Rashid has authored over 100 research papers, tutorials, talks, and book chapters on wireless communications and networking, which have been published in peer-reviewed academic journals and conferences. His research interests encompass computer networks, cognitive computing, computer engineering, wireless broadband, and WiMAX Femtocell technologies.
Dr. Rashid's contributions extend beyond publications; he has been awarded 10 U.S patents in these areas, highlighting his innovative research endeavors. He holds senior membership with the IEEE since 2001 and is a member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (I.E.M), demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence and continued learning in the field of communications and networking.
