Adolescence is the transitional stage from childhood to adulthood, which involves physical, psychological and social changes. The choices adolescents make during this phase can affect the rest of their life, therefore a significant amount of reassurance, guidance and support is required to make the right decisions. Proper consultation, diagnosis and treatment for health issues should also be given as adolescence brings a number of illness.
