Guest Editor Interest

Propose a Special Issue or Thematic Collection

Invite qualified researchers to suggest focused themes, guest editor profiles and responsible author outreach plans.

Special issues and thematic collections should serve a genuine scholarly need. A useful proposal identifies a clear topic, target journal, guest editor expertise, expected author community, ethical safeguards and a transparent call-for-papers plan.

Theme relevance

The topic should fit a Boffin Access journal scope, address an active research question and attract manuscripts that add real scholarly value.

Guest editor profile

Provide affiliation, subject expertise, publication record, ORCID/profile links, conflicts of interest and previous editorial or reviewer experience.

Author outreach

Use accurate CFP language, avoid exaggerated indexing or impact claims, and invite manuscripts from qualified researchers, PhD scholars and clinicians.

Editorial safeguards

All submissions should remain subject to journal scope checks, peer-review standards, conflict management and independent editorial decisions.
