Publishing Transparency
Clear information about ownership, editorial decision-making, peer review, fees, licensing, corrections, metadata and journal claims.
Boffin Access is committed to accurate, accessible and verifiable information throughout the publication process. Journal pages identify their scope, ISSN, publication model, editorial board, author guidance, charges and applicable indexing or discovery services.
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, relevance to journal scope, research integrity and peer-review evidence. Commercial considerations do not determine acceptance.
Peer review
Each journal states its review model. Submissions may undergo technical checks, editorial screening and independent review. Acceptance is never guaranteed and reviewers must disclose relevant conflicts.
Fees and waivers
Any article processing charge, included service and available waiver route must be communicated before publication. Authors should not receive unexpected mandatory publication fees after acceptance.
Licensing and copyright
Published open-access content displays its applicable licence and copyright information. Licence terms determine reuse, attribution and permitted adaptations.
Record integrity
Corrections, expressions of concern and retractions are linked to the version of record and explain the reason for an update while preserving the scholarly record.
Indexing and metrics
Indexing, metadata-deposit, discovery and evaluation status are described separately. An application, metadata deposit or search-engine listing is not presented as confirmed database indexing.
