Baltatu Madalina Simona

Biography:

Bălțatu Mădălina Simona is a lecturer on the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering at the "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iasi. She has a PhD in Materials Engineering, an MsD in Industrial Systems for Modern Technologies, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the Faculty of Biology. She has published over 45 articles in various indexed journals and has four patent applications. Bălțatu Mădălina Simona has also served as a guest editor for several journals, including Micromachines, Coatings, Applied Sciences, Crystals, Bioengineering, and Metals. She is a board member for the International Journal of Bioanalysis & Biomedicine, European Journal of Materials Science and Engineering, and Medicine and Materials, among others. Her H-index is 10 in Web of Science, 10 in SCOPUS, and 11 in Google Scholar. Bălțatu Mădălina Simona's laboratory skills include research management, team leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Research Interests:

Her research interests include the development and characterization of biomaterials for medical applications, including biocompatible alloys, coatings, and functional materials.
