Dr. JingJing Zhang received his Ph.D. from Nanjing University, P. R. China in 2010.After two years of postdoctoral research at Nanjing University; he joined the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 2012 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, and has been serving as some Journal editorial board member. His main research area involves Interfacing nanomaterial with Heme proteins for the detection of clinical metabolites; Protein and whole cell-based electrochemical sensors for clinical trials; Multi-Functional Nanomaterials for Drug Delivery and Bioimaging; Clinical diagnosis of cancer-related diseases with nano-biosensors; Point-of-Care diagnostics using the personal glucose meter. He has published 31 SCI papers (17 first-authored), and two United States Patents, related to Chemistry, Materials, and Biology in international peer-reviewed journals, of which some are ESI Top 1% highly cited papers (3), cover papers (2), VIP paper (1), and ACS Editors' Choice (1).
