Akbar Hojjati-Najafabadi is Associate Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology in China and previously served previously served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Isfahan University of Technology in Iran. Hojjati-Najafabadi's research interests include magnetic materials, environment, photocatalyst materials, water treatment, and biomaterials. He has extensive teaching experience, having lectured on topics such as fundamental of corrosion control, design and quality control, uncertainty, jointing methods of materials, engineering materials, and principles of corrosion and protection. Hojjati-Najafabadi holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Malek Ashtar University of Technology in Iran, where he evaluated the magnetic and microwave properties of nanocomposites based on aluminium-chromium substituted barium ferrite and calcium-copper titanate. He has also been invited to give presentations and lectures on various topics related to materials science and engineering at institutes and universities in China and Iran.
