Dr. Ming-Chang Chiang is an Associate Professor in Department of Life Sciences at Fu-Jen Catholic University, New Taipei City Taiwan. He completed his B.S. in Department of Physical Therapy, China Medical University, and Taichung. He is a licensed physical Therapist. He obtained his Phd in Neuroscience at National Yang-Min University, Tapei. In past 5 years his research mainly focused on AMPK or 5' adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase is an enzyme that plays a role in cellular energy homeostasis, Huntington’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and human neural stem cells.
His research interests mainly focus on the areas Neuroscience, Brain science, Cognitive Neuroscience, PPARs and AMPK.
