Dr. Usumez is graduated in 1996 from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Dentistry. She completed her PhD thesis in department of Prosthodontics in 2001. She was appointed as Assistant Professor in 2003, as Associate Professor in 2005 and as Professor in 2010. She was awarded as the Young Scientist of 2008 by The Turkish Dental Association. She completed Master of Science in “Lasers in Dentistry” in RWTH Aachen University in 2012. She has published over 100 scientific articles in journals, book chapters, oral and poster presentations awards and travel stipends from international congresses. She is giving courses and lectures about Lasers in Dentistry, Esthetics and Implant Prosthetics.
