Mohammed Abdul Wahab Sayed Abou Rehab

Biography:

Dr. Mohammed Abdul Wahab Sayed Abou Rehab is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics at Umm Al-Qurra University, Saudi Arabia. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutics), an M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutics), and a B.Pharm degree. His research focuses on the development and evaluation of floating dosage forms for the treatment of peptic ulcer. He has experience in teaching courses on Pharmaceutics and Dispensing of medications, and his research experience includes using various computerized instruments for analysis. He has also received special training for using NMR and Texture Analyzer and completed a Web-based training course from The National Committee of Bioethics (NCBE).

Research Interests:

The research interests of Dr. Mohammed Abdul Wahab Sayed Abou Rehab include drug delivery systems, solid dosage forms, colloidal drug delivery systems, liposomal and niosomal drug delivery systems, microencapsulation, solid dispersions and inclusion complexes, self nanoemulsified drug delivery systems, Design of Experiments, pharmaceutical industry equipment, solid dispersion technology, tablet formulation and Q.C., ternary system preparation and investigation, interpretation of DSC, IR and X-ray data, and gastroretentive dosage forms.
