Professor LiqunZhang obtained his Ph.D degree from Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He worked as an associate professor in the department of Materials Science and Engineering of BUCT. He is the head of the Key Lab of Beijing City on Preparation and Processing of Novel Polymer Materials, the head of the Engineering Research Center of Ministry of Education on Energy and Resource Saved Elastomers, and associate head of State Key Lab of Organic-Inorganic Composites, China. The head of Cheung Kong Scholar Innovation Group of Ministry of Education, the head of National Defense Science and Industry Innovation Group. He has published over 400 papers, the number of papers with his name as the first author or the corresponding author included by SCI is over 200. He was chosen to be one of the most cited Chinese Researchers of Elsevier 2014-2017.He was invited to be the plenary speaker, the keynote speaker, the co-general chair and the session chair for more than 100 times.
Professor LiqunZhang main research direction is focused on designing, synthesizing, studying the structure-property of advanced polymer nano composites towards various practical applications through computer simulation technique and experiment.

Prof Krishna Bisetty is a Full Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Durban University of Technology (DUT) in South Africa. He received his PhD from the University of Natal, and subsequently undertook post doctoral training in the Molecular Design and Computational Chemistry Laboratory at the Universitat de Politechnica (UPC) in Barcelona, Spain under the supervision of Prof Juan Perez and Prof Jesus Jomez Catalan. As an NRF C3 rated scientist and an experienced science educator, he is currently managing and leading the “Computational Modelling and BioAnalytical Chemistry” research group at DUT with a strong national and international collaborations. He is a co-author of over 80 international papers, four book chapters, a supervisor to over 20 masters and doctoral students and more than 5 post doctoral fellows. He served on several Conference Organizing Committees and his work presented at local and international conferences. He also held visiting positions at the Jamia Islamia University (A central University) in India, the University of Valencia in Spain, the University of Mauritius and the University of Latvia.
His research interests are mainly focused on smart-engineered nanostructured electrode materials, modified electrode surfaces and single particle characterisation for the development of biosensors. His current work is aimed at trying to understand the synergy between the experimental and computational approaches in addressing the mechanism of electrochemical sensing of specific biosensors and identifying the effective factors to enhance the sensing. The broader goals are to design, model and fabricate doped smart materials to improve human health and biosensor technology.

Dr. Lim Jun Wei was conferred with Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degree in Chemistry and Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2009 and 2013, respectively. Currently, he is affiliated with the Department of Fundamental and Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, serving as a Senior Lecturer in Chemistry program. His major research interests are insect-based compounds, remediation of solid wastes and wastewaters and microbial biofuels. Accordingly, he has published more than 80 research papers including of book chapters of late. He is also a member of IChemE.

Kai Seng, KOH is an assistant professor in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University Malaysia. He has a broad range of academic as well as industry interests including microscale fluid dynamics, multiphase flow, MEMS device packaging of design and fabrication, energetic material synthesis and characterization, and life science application using the technology of droplet microfluidic. Dr.Koh currently resides in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with his family and travels to different countries for research inspiration is his main hobby.
Dr. Hai-Feng (Frank) Ji is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Drexel University. He did a postdoctoral research at Department of Chemistry, the University of Florida, after earning his PhD in Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences.
His research interests focus on MEMS devices, polymers, nanomaterials for energy and environmental applications, drug discovery, nanopillars and phosphene for energy applications, and surface chemistry. He is currently a co-author of 170 peer-viewed journal articles and book chapters. He has an H-index of more than 30.
