Dr. Elisa Bona was born in 1976 in Canelli (Asti, Italy). She lives in Asti. She reached her high school diploma in 1995 and her degree in Biology in 2002 at Eastern Piedmont University. She holds a Ph.D. (2006) in Environmental Science at the Eastern Piedmont University and the Specialization degree in Microbiology and Virology (2010) at the Università di Genoa. Afterwards, she continued her research as a post-doctoral fellow. Now she is a Researcher in Microbiology at the Eastern Piedmont University and works in Vercelli. She has a good expertise in microbiology techniques, microscopy, two-dimensional gel electrophoresis, mass spectrometry, HPLC analyses and molecular biology. She is a Professor of General Microbiology, Professor of Applied Bacteriology and Professor of Diagnostic in Microbiology since 2015 to till now.
